The Supreme Court is on Thursday expected to rule on the petition of actress Rhea Chakraborty, seeking transfer of FIR registered at Patna in the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, to Mumbai. The FIR at Patna was lodged by Sushant’s father Krishna Kishore Singh, in which he had accused Rhea and her family, as well as others of abetment of his son’s suicide.
Sushant, 34, was found dead at his apartment in suburban Bandra here on June 14, in what appeared to be a case of suicide. However, allegations and counter-allegations following the actor’s death have turned the case murkier.

उच्चतम न्यायालय ने बुधवार को कहा कि सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की मौत की सच्चाई सामने आनी ही चाहिए। इसी बीच, केंद्र ने न्यायालय को सूचित किया कि उसने इस मामले को cbi सौंप की बिहार सरकार की सिफारिश स्वीकार कर ली है।
Sushant Singh Rajput case: Final post mortem report
The final report in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case has been submitted which rules out the possibility of any kind of foul play. The cause of death has been identified as ‘asphyxia due to hanging’.
The final report quoted, “No signs of any struggle before death, nothing found from his nails.”
The report was analysed by a team of five doctors. Police are now awaiting the viscera report
Rhea Chakraborty interrogated for 10 hours
- Sushant’s close friend Rhea Chakraborty also arrived at the Bandra police station to record her statement on Thursday. The interrogation lasted for nearly 10 hours. She was reportedly asked about her relationship with Sushant, his film projects, his depression, and mental state before the suicide.
